Daniel Shpigel

Daniel I. Shpigel, MD, MBA, CPHQ, is a board-certified emergency physician and hospital administrator with expertise in healthcare quality, operations, and innovation. He serves as Director of Quality for the Department of Emergency Medicine at George Washington University, where he focuses on patient safety, regulatory, and operational improvement initiatives for a high-volume academic emergency department. His experience also spans healthcare entrepreneurship, medical device innovation, and digital health strategy, including leadership roles in healthcare startups. He completed a fellowship in Medical Leadership and Operations and serves on the American College of Emergency Physicians Reimbursement Committee.
