Kevin Davey
Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine
Dr. Davey works to strengthen emergency care in low-resource and austere settings through structured training and education, teaching in India, Mozambique, Tanzania, Mali, Niger, and the Dominican Republic. He advises the U.S. State Department as a subject matter expert in emergency medicine, disaster management, and operational medicine, designing training programs for international deployment, and he consulted for the World Health Organization's Emergency, Trauma and Acute Care Programme during his fellowship. He is a physician member of Virginia Task Force 1, a federal urban search and rescue team.
