Edie completed the University of Pittsburgh's residential Physician Assistant program, training across rural and urban healthcare settings throughout the United States. Before PA school, she worked as an EMT and EMS Logistics Officer, coordinating medical assets for 911 response, supporting special event medicine operations, and conducting international medical repatriations. She remains actively involved in operational medicine and prehospital education through AEMP's event medicine program and serves as an ACLS instructor for the training center.
